BAC Water

Bacteriostatic Water

Sterile water containing 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. Used as the standard solvent for reconstituting lyophilised peptides. Available in 3 ml and 10 ml vials.

Usage

• Inject slowly along the vial wall when reconstituting peptides
• Do not shake — swirl gently until dissolved
• Suitable for multi-vial research protocols
• Multi-use vial; discard 28 days after first puncture

Storage

• Store at room temperature (15–25 °C) before opening
• After first use keep at 2–8 °C
